This bold electronics manufacturing company was started by a field engineer who thought it would serve countries around the world to develop their own manufacturing plants and make in-house electronics instead of outsourcing to Asian countries. This idea is one of self-sufficiency and the owner was well aware of the benefits that this would bring to international trade and change environmental concerns for China and other countries Asian countries that supply outsourced electronics manufacturing.
The problem was that although the company had an abundance of content, trustability was low because the information was difficult to discern and there were no native English speakers on the sales or marketing teams.
Our Solution
To put together a content plan of re-purposing past content and creating new content in a variety of ways. Creating helpful content that will position the company as an engineering leader in their industry and spread the option of sufficiency to countries, states, and cities globally. We started with helpful content for engineers such as breaking down technical papers and creating infographics, articles, how to type content for many different industries. Then we developed helpful tools for CEOs and decision-makers to inform them on the ROI and cost benefits of automating their factories. We created a helpful CAD file page for design engineers that gave them access to Gerber files, which we sourced from previous projects and acts as a knowledge hub to attract engineers to the company’s site. Next, we created automation email workflows to engineers who used the files in the order that they may become acquainted with the company and its solutions.
It was important for us to maintain relationships with those that have been customers with the company but also to engage new customers with helpful content via Facebook Groups for Professional Electronic Engineers Worldwide. Creating educational, helpful, informative, engaging content to reach their customers and support their sales team’s leads as well via email marketing, PR, and facebook group marketing. All without ever paying for a single ad, we used content to increase sales and support this company’s growing demand for information. The educational content strategy has increased partnerships and global reach which have garnered more opportunities for growth.
