The two founders of A.R. Marketing House are very wary of monopolies and oligopolies in the healthcare industry. Modern medicine in the western world is incredible, however native/eastern medicine has been just as curative. Traveling the world and learning diverse cultural remedies, diets, and farming methods have inspired the A.R. team to explore holistic medicine and practitioners and help bridge the lack of study in modern medicine in the western world.
When a functional neurological center approached us for help to educate their audience and solicit patience to return, we were happy to dive in to find out the centers needs and how we can support their further vision and mission. After talking to the doctors, we quickly found the same holes we have found in the holistic health industry as a whole, lack of education for everyone who is not a doctor, practitioner, therapist or healer. People would equate what functional neurologists do with general chiropractic care and there is so much more behind the practice including heaps more formal education and hands on training.
The primary functional neurologist works with many Olympians, sports professionals, as well as challenging cases within the general public. What we came up with was an educational content strategy and plan to educate and engage their current patient base, as well as educate a wider audience that had no clue about functional neurology helping with common ailments most people accept as ‘just getting old’. The stories they told us were incredible, personal, and they motivated A.R. as a team to get this education out to people suffering from chronic pain, chronic illness, sports injuries, chronic headaches, migraines, stroke rehabilitation, concussions, and so much more. We knew what needed to be done. Education!
Our Solution
We provided a solution to the center based on their budget and for the many people who suffer from needed rehabilitation, alignment and getting to the root causes of many painful illnesses. We created a plan to educate their current community of clients. We started with researching what functional neurology is and what people need to know about the specific care the center provides. We researched case studies, looked at their own cases to create their own case studies.
We looked at their current market makeup and surveyed how people receive their information about health care and how people make health buying decisions. We created an educational plan and executed it via email newsletter, email automation series, and social media educational content that educates in a fast and compact series of posts. We developed a plan to educate by creating infographics, case studies, and solicit testimonials. Another part of the plan is to educate other practitioners with scheduled classes at their offices to bring the holistic health practitioners together to improve their practices and work to uplift the industry as a whole.
The Results
Rebranding the center as a leader in the chiropractic neurological field and educating their clients had within a month created a buzz about their center. They have regained customers they have not seen in a while and increased referrals. Sharing of their content continues to soar getting their center in touch with big centers in other parts of the country. They have been able to expand their offices and purchase a facility for their practice.
We look forward to bringing functional neurology to the mainstream as an option everyone feels confident to explore. In addition, we aim to bring this practice into the general population’s frame of reference to improve its respect within the medical industry as a whole via more mainstream education on functional neurology.
